A new adaptation/synthesis of five comedies by Aristophanes and Menander, based on the choruses composed by Michalis Christodoulides. The highlights of Frogs, Lysistrata, Wasps, Birds and Samia are woven together to create a new musical, inspired by the iconoclastic humour of the greatest ancient comedians. This new play celebrates the transcendental power of music and theatre. A troupe of 7 actors along with 6 musicians on stage create a performance inspired by the surrealism of Old Comedy, with a playful interlude by Menander.
