September 18 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
“Steli” is an urban performance/installation, interactive, with a great visual impact. A bridge between contemporary art and performance. A contemporary happening addressed to a wide ranging audience.
The starting point of the research is a reflection on some art works from worldwide contemporary art heritage by Joseph Kosuth, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Christian Boltanski, Jannis Kounellis, Goshka Macuga…. The result was an educational and performative project called “Reaction” created in collaboration with the Educational Department of Castello di Rivoli – Contemporary Art Museum (one of the most important contemporary art museums in Europe). “Steli” is a portion of that exploration, a project questioning the theme of live, inhabit and architecture into post-industrial cities, open to a new and wide audience.
Τhe work displays universal values and reflects on social and political phenomena of our time through the language of contemporary art and participatory performance.
